I've just started filling in my second logbook and I assumed that for the "running total number of dives" I just continue on from my last logbook, thus being 199 in total for my first book (had to void a page due to a mistake hence only 199).

But after doing this I realised what happens after your 999th dive?!?!

Because I dive on the fish farms an we can do from 1-5 dives a day, working 6 days a week so could easily go through a few logbooks in the year and also easily doing more than 999 dives.

Any insight would be gratefull :)

I used to use old AODC logbooks when I worked on the fish farms. One page per day, TTUP instead of bottom time, ie. The time of first leaving surface, the time last on surface, and total time under pressure, and in the comments put how many dives, and any other info (different depths, number of bounces, etc.)
Best advice is get out of Fish Farming as soon as you can- having multiple dives 6 days a week on a dive profile like a saw blade can only be a bad thing!
