Rigger boots and bathrobe! It's all coming back to me now! Hardly a boss, just have some kit for small jobs and a 17 for the scoobies to try a dive in. Mind you if i ever need to hire in a young impressionable diver i'll make sure to follow the great man's lead by taking them straight from the airport to a supporters club where they can enjoy plenty of warm cans of yellow-pack lager and even more sesectarian hatred!!

Good stuff! Was mostly with Acergy althogh they were still Stolt then. Long trip on the Disco in Angola, Eagle in Norway and then a regular slot on the Osprey. Did a couple of trips for SS7 on the Bar Protector after coming off the Disco. Been keeping up the small jobs inshore, mostly mussel farm and mooring stuff. Got my own surface supplied spread and hat camera system. Started running try-a-dives in it for scoobydoos. Very popular! http://www.underwaterinspectionservices.com

Haha! That's more accurate alright! Good to hear from you. Spent 3 or 4 years fishfarm diving (mostly net-cleaning) and then got offshore as an ALST. Was getting loads of work but couldn't get a mortgage from the f#ckin Irish banks so had to get a "normal" job for a while. Trying to get back offshore again now. How are things with you and where you working these days?? Bumped into John MacKenzie offshore a few years ago, on the Bar Protector off Spain.

It's a Moon shot in the North sea. Actually it was a very detailed search of a river bed. The boss wanted proof we'd done it properley!
