Hey mate you would have to get you ADAS cert to work over here which means doing a competency based a****sment probably a bit expensive but if your still keen hit up the schools for a price, The underwater centre fremantle is prob the go. then depending on experience start hitting up the companies it is a slow start at first but from what i can gather once you have proved yourself there is heaps of work.
DIT is not all that bad. Doc is a great instructor and you will learn alot there. If you are thinking about leaving I would look at the school in Miss/Lousiana that is owned by several of the dive companies (that suggestion actually came from a DIT instructor.) Its only 3-4 months, costs considerably less and you are almost guaranteed a job when you graduate. Otherwise tough it out at DIT
