Yes = Ever dive on a rig that was knocked over by a hurricane in 1962

The Platform was over at 35% two lags out of the water one 20' under with tension on the lags twisted

I hooked my hose to my lage and went in up side down with a diver tending me at the 20' opening.

 

I started to burn and hit gas pocket smashed the face plate of my Desco mask the tender diver was blown off the pipe but swam back and pulled me out. I tryed to make another dive but boath ears wear blowen out

Still have 30% lost in both ears that was in 1963 at Deep Sea Diver International Bell Chase La. Gunther

Kinderman, Don Pits,Wit Witer Owners That was the second and only job I did for them I was on Loan from

Dick Evans Divers
