I have heard good things about UCC. I believe it was US Underwater Services (?) that came up north here to offer some OPEX on nuke diving.
What Edward Southworth and Marty Jones said is spot on. Not sure what its like in the US, but we have Zebra…
If you find a company starting you out at at least 15 ph as a tender (I don't know how much water time you have logged.) that pays travel, and has insurance. Take it and learn from the divers around you. Dont "cut-throat" other…
I am looking at going offshore for the 1st time and I was wondering what to expect and which companies are better to work for. Any info would be helpful
I am thinking of going down to the Commercial Diving Academy an getting my wet welder cert. Is it worth it or should I just not bother dropping the cash right now for it and just go down to the GOM with my topside welder certs?

While I am in recovery I am planning on getting my EMT-B cert. Is it worth also getting my DMT and HCT cert?
