Union Diver Training

I have been a member of Local 2396 here in Western Washington for about 15 years.  I worked with Vince Rainier. Lonnie wigon and ill Sullivan to get training for the divers in our local.  Everytime we wold start on something we would run into a brick wall.  I taught at the Carpenters Training Center in Kent and at Pleasantton, CA.  That was a short lived experience.  I was approached by Russ Banner out of Oregon to set up a training program for the Training Center in Willamette.  That was the…See More

west Coast Work

Not much going on on the West Coast.  The two largest companies, Global Diving and Salvage and Northwest Underwater Construction are working but they have all their people.  Both are also doing some cleanup from the BP fiasco. and that's about it.  If you want some company names around the country I can fire them off to you.  It would be non-sat.  Let me know.

Willie several of those names are known. Last night Retired Master diver Sam Sangrey and his family came over for dinner as they are vacationing from Calif. Bob Cave is recovering from cancer, he and Sam Sangrey were my masters at Dev Group Gunner had just left. Small world. Great connecting with you pal.

Massey is still around as far as I know. He emailed me a couple months ago. He recovered from the head injury and is back doing NDT for some small outfit in Everett I believe. Don't hear from him too often. Do you ever hear from Mel? I get emails from Babs and Jimmy from time to time. Say hi to Boobs for me or better yet let him read this.

Phone number is still the same, I lost yours as usual, have tried to contact you at the school there but it seems like the message never gets passed on and I tried emailing you with the same result. But hey, it's damn good to be in contact again, I got lots to tell you!

Out Here,
