Whats going on work wise in the North East?  Im trying to get a handle on the amount of work if any is availble before I make any travel plans.  Ill take any tips, Dave

Hey Dave... I'm graduating school in a month and a half and am trying to get into Local 1556 in NY.. You mentioned going to Boston and them transfered home... Do you have any advice because getting a person to speak with who has a clue seems to be impossible

I am the trade union rep for the Railway Maritime and Transport Union (RMT) in the UK which represents working divers in the UK.
I'm currently offshore but when I get home in June I'd like to have a chat on how unions work in the USA.
