We were the first who invented in 2007 HighTech/HighPower fluorescence torches. I will perform platform presentations (multimedia) espececally for recreational divers to demonstrate the worldwide threat of coral reefs. During nightdives I will preferentially show corals under threat. So my intention is not to make beautiful photos for fun only, but inform the participants about methods of sustainability. Since I am embryologist and molecular biologist the audience get informations about the life cycle of corals and their problems with environmental threats. They also will learn that the corals show fluorescence under blue light (short wave lenght) and that the contain proteins (GFP, modified green fluorescent protein), which is stimulate to give rainbow like colors. By the way this GFP was fist found and characterized in a jelly fish. 3 scientists got the nobel prize for chemistry in 2008.
