As long as the youngones listen, most forget to read the card they issue at graduation "Tender/Diver", They assume that means that they are divers. THey are not taught that "Diver" is an earned status and comes from quiet mouths and opened ears....
I guess patience really is required by us even more than ever. Divers "Teach your tenders to be Divers. We were them once, remind them that cut throating is just not done, and that filling a log book and Earning the title diver are two different things....
