When I started diving I was an apprentice pile-driver, subsequent to that I have an air brake drivers licence, forklift licence, commercial fishing licence, industrial first aid, 60 T. crane operators cert., etc. This will not be your first brush with lean times for diving work, how you deal with the situation is up to you-feast or famine-or a selection of alternatives on your terms? Plan now, because there is no work for new divers. Sorry
Well spoken Bill. No one owes us a job so we just deal with it. Like a dive pal of mine Kurt Ward use to say "you have to be more creative if you wish to stay in the diving field".
