Hello everyone and thanks for taking the time to read my little discussion and possibly be able to help me out. Now I am currently in the process of searching for a school to receive the training needed to become a commercial diver and have two in mind that I liked what I was hearing from the people I talked to over the phone. One being the International Diving Institute and the other being The Ocean Corporation. I have been leaning more towards the International Diving Institute more to be honest and just had a few questions for those of you who either went there or just have more knowledge of whats all out there.

After talking to someone from there and researching them I noticed that (correct me if I am wrong please) I cannot get my IMCA card but can get my ACDE card which will be recognized if I wish to work off shore in other countries which I wish to do.

What are some of the pros and cons of attending either of these institutes?

I do have more questions but short on time at the moment so that will be all I can rattle off. So thank you again for taking the time to read this and I appreciate any help provided :) Oh and if someone would like to add another good place to receive training, please do share I might not have come across them at all.
