Good for about 5' of water as long as you are 10' feet away from heat source. does not put out enough flow to diver. If you increase flow water does not have time to heat. only good for showering before or after dive.

Had some hands bring one to job site about four years ago, didn't have much luck with it.

CFM is to low and won't work unless you get a water pump that can push a good a mount of CFM to the diver.

CFM????

 

You mean the Heat Rise for the required gpm is too low.

 

A surface supplied divers hotwater system requires around 80 degree heat rise at 5 gpm{per diver] assuming a 33 degree water temperature.

hook up a pressure washer in the loop to increase pressure behind the heater.

FWIW;

 

A conventional / standard "diesel fired pressure-washer water heater" is NOT PROPER EQUIPMENT!

 

NO HIGH TEMPETURE SHUT DOWN, NO FLOW SHUT DOWN{not the tiny factory unit flow shut down that is of little or no value] and NO ANTI-SCALDING VALVE.

 

Units must be converted or system's built by persons who know!

 

When a"diver" using a "diesel fired pressure-washer water heater" get's physically burned then You will understand!
