Jim, Yes many years ago in the Gulf of Mexico there was a product that was like a 12 bold inflation bag that had a neck ring made into it. As I rember  you would have to turn up your air supply to make yourself more buoyant.

My Russian hat doesn't incorporate any of that. I just go down line and up a down line or just tale it off and go for it. Now you almost know everything-Have fun. Ace

Hi Jim, The hat I am diving here in Hawaii is a 3 port Russian with a Chinese adjustable exhaust what makes it really cool for me to dive is that where the 3 bolt top of hat comes to mate up with breast plate I have a sheet of neoprene in between with a measured neck h*** cut out of it.  Because of all of this I can actually pretty much turn upside down without it flooding.  So big picture its cheap, fun and almost foolproof-almost!   Happy New Year ;) Ace

Hey Jim,  Thanks for the notes on the SLS.  It is mine and now fairly old, but it has some sentimental value so I will probably hang on to it.  Looks like you have a nice collection of rebreather hats.  Enjoy your winter in the Med and dive safe!
