yeah basking in the sunshine off the coast of burma, doing a 24 inch pipeline at the moment, got my sat ticket lined up for september, unless i get on an upcoming job in brunei for shell, in which case ill postpone it until said job is finished

Hi Craig, I've just retired after 30+yrs offshore. Just doing an informal polling of young canadian divers to see what-where-how they are doing. Its shaping up to interesting responses. A few more replies will give me a bit of an idea on how the biz is percieved and the realities...thanx-bill

how are things going in Canada...do you feel the financial crisis there too....is there any more jobs than in the US?
Here in Europe is very slow...hopefully things are going to get better in the next weeks :)
