Viking Poseidon is an ULSTEIN SX121, a large subsea-construction vessel with ULSTEIN X-BOW® design. The vessel is 130 metres long and 25 metres wide with a deck area of approx 1500 m2. She will be fitted out for 106 persons and will amongst other things be equipped with a ROV garage, helideck and a diesel electric propulsion system.

She's quite the vessel, I'd say. What's the rig that Veolia is running in China? Any pics or info?

Hey Newts,
You forgot the most important part of the press release. The Poseidon will be fitted out with 2 new Perry ROV´s owned and opereated by Veolia E.S. This is another world class vessel for the GOM market from Veolia. Oh yea, Veolia is also operating a sat system in China with GOM personnel.
