    JON, recieved your email , i learned a few tricks on salvage projects, also have done a handfull of heavy jobs. Knowing a few contacts so you can get advice due to you have seen this vessel and the geography. Mamoet Schiedam is the largest salvor in the world, try contacting them to get advice, Magone Marine in dutch harbor AK, i did 2 jobs w/ them in the 1990's.
