Well actually epic laid me off yesterday and six others. but within an hour i got a job with J&J diving services. Small company but good perks. I'm good though. NO sucks ass dont really like it. epic is a horrible company in six months ive had 33 days offshore and then they lay me off its kind of insulting. never did anything wrong actually got good reviews after every job i got off of and my boss never sent me out. but i go out with j and j next tuesday when i get back from seattle coming up tomorrow night to see my new nephew.... hows my favorite instructor ever (im serious about that one lol)
It was a great tour and we are thankful you took the time! Maybe we will head out that way next week to grab a beer! I will coordinate with Adam and we will make it happen! Thanks again Mike
hey!!!!!!!!!!!! what's going on??? i do need to get my back better and get working. prob working sunday and possibly next week for a company in vancouver and one on van island.
one company does ship husbandry, the other does pretty much everything, specializing in rov though. i would love any leads that you have. i wanna look into all my options. THANKS
What's going on chief. Got hired on at Divecon in Louisiana March 5th and was offshore March 12th. I've been offshore or on standby since. Right now I'm on a liftboat on a Chevron job. We're doing platform decomissioning. Great boat and great crew. Learning alot. Haven't gotten wet yet, but they promise me I will be soon.
Absolutely nothing. I am traveling LA with Krier and Plys and trying to find a job. Everthing in Dallas/Ft Worth has fallen through and I dont think John Paul ever talked to anyone on my behalf like he said he would. I am in despret need of a job within the next week but nobody seems to be hiring. I think I have got to go to security or construction just to keep the roof on my kids head. This sucks
LA Oilfield wouldnt even take a resume/application. Seamar said to fax them a resume but that they were not hiring. I have talked to so many companies all over the states that they all run together now.
Hey Mike!! How have things been? I secured a job with Veolia and I am getting ready for my first hitch offshore! I'm getting worked into a rotation on one of their sat boats, which is better than no work at all with the way things are down here right now. I figured I would start there and keep my ears open for an air position somewhere. I've been bugging them to put me on their boat in China! We are renting a place in Morgan City from a guy named Rod Cairn. He helped Cal Dive go public back in the 80's. He's an LST for Veolia right now. Really good stuff. Anyways, hope all is well and keep in touch.
hey mike glad ta hear from ya, workin fur tiburon, hard to believe I spent 7 months in school just ta chip paint (but it is work), havin mudbugs fur dinner
Hey, yes I would appreciate that. I Have heard of DIT but haven't researched them much so yea if someone could contact me that would be great be it you or someone else. I can be gotten a hold of at 701-329-0031. Thanks!
Renee contacted me today but I was unable to talk due to the fact that I was holding on for dear life on a steep roof ha. But I will be contacting her tomorrow for sure. Thanks for the help!
Man I am loving it. The job is nothing like John Paul was saying and the company has new owners anyway. I have already got in the water and am now a working diver.

Mike,
Bob Armington Here. I am working in Thailand, there is a Thai Maritime and Archeology University who wants to enter into negotiations with an established Commercial Dive School, to open a school in Thailand. There is a real need.
I work with (and do a lot of teaching) of Divers from the Thai Army (EOD), Royal Thai Navy Salvage guys, Thai Navy SEALs.
Currently offshore as a supervisor (air and MG)...I have been trying to get in touch with you guys. Can you help me out ? I tried COO, still waiting for an answer. I think Willy is still there at DIT, he may remember me. He taught me some good stuff.

Well I had a legal matter to attend to which is why I still have not attended DIT yet but I had court yesterday actually and it was very one sided (my side) and now I just have to wait for the official verdict which can take anywhere from 1-3 months usually I was told. But once I get that taken care of I would expect you to be hearing from me. Thanks for the check up.
