Wet welder cert

I am thinking of going down to the Commercial Diving Academy an getting my wet welder cert. Is it worth it or should I just not bother dropping the cash right now for it and just go down to the GOM with my topside welder certs?

Don't bother. They don't really do much welding, and you won't be diving there for a good year or two anyway. haha.
