Just an introduction and a question:

I'm an Active Duty Army Combat Medic who did the Q5 SFDMT course at Trumbo Point.  Rec diver (OW1) certified in 94.  NREMT-B certified as part of the job, skills closer to EMT-I/Para due to all the extra stuff the army taught me.  I'm here looking into possible job opportunities after I leave my term of servitude to uncle sam (couple years to go). If anyone has any idea how the q5 course compares to commercial DMT courses, and what commercial certs I would need to pick up after I leave the service, I would appreciate the coaching.

Look at Professional Diving Centre. good course with practical work on ambulance services.

Ok sorry, I can only speak for DDRC which I thought was excellent. Some of my colleagues speak highly of Interdive though, I`m sure they are both as good as each other.
