I think this is the funniest lot on here. I dont actually remember the date of my dive or what i was doing cause it seamed like all the bell runs just ran together. Just another day and another buck for me at the time. Worked at Cal Dive on the Uncle John when i did most of my sat work, I guess it just wasnt that important to me to remember, Now if I hate 1000' i would probably remember and care more. The closest I got to that was when we de satted i got to watch the ROV's set some sub sea bridges that were in 1000+' We were supposed to set the 1000' one but they decided to go with the ROV.

Hi, my deepest dive was in a cave to 239m in Thailand on open circuit scuba. the nearest chamber was 1,5 hour away. 10hr Dive done in a drysuit and shallow deco in a self made plastic wet bell wedged at the ceiling of the cave. surface supplied Nitrox to the bell by means of a vinyl garden hose =)

Hi my deepest Sat was 230 meters (760 ft) during July 1976 working off the Oil Rig Sedco K. The company was Comex South Africa and the dives took place 120 km or so off Lamberts Bay Southern Africa. Our saturated depth in the chamber was 660ft and the dives were spescial ludion dives. We dived with electrically heated suits and kirby 10. I would have to look at my log book for all the other details. One of the dive team was Colin Beard and superintendant was Pony Moore.
Best Regards, Mike Smith

Hello all inthe groupe,
I have reached 993 feet on the 16th of June 1976 in the North Sea on the Drilling Rig Sedco 700. It was at the time the deepest dive in European waters and we have had a lot of presse.
I do have some News paper articles which I will add later to this forum.
My name is Michael Wludarczyk, my sat training was done with Sub Sea Oil Services, of Milan Italy, now not any more in existance.
We used a modified COMEX-PRO full face mask and open cicuit breathing.
If you like to know more about the dive, I will reply to your mails.
Best regards
Michael.
