OK, here's how CDI used to do it:

Pay Rate Formula

If depth:
# of hours per each job per week x Hourly rate (excluding gear rental) + Depth pay, divided by # of hours = new hourly rate

New hourly rate x 1.5 = OT rate

Example:

Job #1
48 hours x $10.00/hr = $480.00 + $100.00(depth) = $580.00
divided by 48 hours = $12.08 = new hourly rate
12.08 x 1.5 = 18.12 OT rate

Job #1 would be 32 hrs @ $12.08/hr
16 hrs @ $18.12/hr
Job #2 would be 16 hrs @ $10.00/hr
8 hrs @ $15.00/hr

Weighted Average per job per week
Only with depth does hourly rate change
