I worked for Parker Diving Services  in LA for 5 years and they are a union non union company.  Parker being there union co and Subsea solutions being there non union co.  The bad part about this company is that they use kids that are scuba certed and do there own in house training for surface supplyed diving.    Both the local union 2375 and ADC have been aware of this issue for years but when they try to do somthing about it Parker gets its lawyers involved and they all back off.  I have also seen these guys working on a union job diving but Parker will pay these guys non union so if diving in Ca for local 2375 is $82.00 an hour they will pay these guys $18.00 an hour.  Beware!

ok ok. i didnt know about the union part. if true, i wounder how the local union 2375 feels about this.

thx for reply.

I work as a member of the Subsea Solutions [Alliance], and i am very familiar with Parker diving.

Parker as a company has some questionable financial policies but not being an employee myself i am not able to  comment.

With regards to they're employee/workforce pool... they are excellent!! they are a killer group of guys i would be more than happy to work with anytime, everytime. I'm especially stoked b/c I'm heading to Korea on Tues to work a job that's being run by Parker, look forward to every bit of it.

i have been in gulf for a while now so im used to the non union pay grade! i dont feel slighted in the least. i have been treated more than fare when it comes to non-union companies...

i like so far what i hear about parker...
