Rumor has been circulating for the past few weeks that Orion had a diver fatality. But information has been scant and difficult to come by. I have not seen any information regarding this incident online or in print by Orion, ADCI or the CG. What I have been able to gather is the following:

David Sparks, 42 a commercial diver, died in Lake Lanier, GA on July 11, 2009 while working for Orion on a pipeline project. Entanglement may have been a factor in this incident.

Lake Lanier is a man made reservior built and maintained by the U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers.
