Event Description

Deepwater Southeast Asia Congress (DSAC) 2009 is a second annual event with a focus on the offshore market in the region of SE Asia.

The event gathers major NOCs and IOCs active in the region to discuss the key issues facing the deepwater market place. The event achieved a great success in 2008, gathering 180+ delegates from 15+ countries around the world.

Despite the economic downturn in 2009, DSAC anticipates a major breakthrough in its scale. We expect a minimum 25% year-on-year growth for the total number of participants and we endeavor to cover a wider scope of offshore market place in Asia. Offshore blocks in the Indian Ocean amd Austrasia region will be brought into discussion for the first time; while, SE Asia remains the major catch for the conference topics.

For a brief introduction, please find hot topics of the conference as follows:
Major investment opportunities in the offshore acreage of SE Asia (inclusive of Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, Philippine, Myanmar and Thailand)
Emerging investment opportunities from Indian Ocean & Austrasia region
Fund raising strategies for oil & gas companies during the turbulent time
Overview and prediction of deepwater drilling market
Strategies for marginal field development with FLNG technologies
State-of-the-art technologies shared from major engineering contractors

Event schedule:
