well it never pays to lie but stretch the truth. What is your background? If you have a practical background then you should put that down. If you were a bank manager then dont. They are looking for a guy that is good with his hands can understand a drawing and can take instructions. Also someone who can think on the move and be able to offer up an option when plan is not going too good.
Apart from that you cant put experience yet so try to make yourself look like a very capable engineering minded person.
I started out doing civils jobs far a few years and to be honest it was great in the respect that it gave me good experience. If you go offshore and f*** up a job as a new guy its unlikely you will get another shot at it. I would leave the hats course till you are retiring cause there are techs on the jobs that will do the hats and divers are not generally left near them. The sat course could be one to do down the line but to be honest the market has loads of sat divers right now and its a bucket load of cash to get it done. A rip off in my opinion and in my experience. Some of my sat mates have no work right now and these are godd sat divers so that tells its own story. Did you get the numbers I sent you by mail through this site?
Neil, I have been speaking to your good wife in your absence. I will put together a few names and numbers for you that I have and hope you get some work out of it. Info to follow via Email
