What do you like to do with your down time / onshore time?
Writer / photographer Produce hardcover books on railroading. I have never been a working diver, but through the Historcal Diving Society have become an instructor in MkV and other heavy gear diving. Back at ya Jim, Where I started it was all heavy gear-I dove for a year before I did a scuba dip. My instincts were a bass ackwards, when ruffled I tended to favour being on the bottom & was always looking over my shoulder to see where the hose was-scuba-no airline!!! I`ve looked in some of your sport commercial dive sites with envy --the gear. What a great opportunity to relive some of the great (& some not so great) diving equipment of the past. Keep the heritage alive. Thanks Jim -keep on keepin on.
