I have something very vital to disclose with you but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me via my direct email (frankline8veronica@gmail.com) for more details.
Have a nice day,

Green Canyon Block 1982 working for Conoco in an ADS called the Mantis. I was working for International Underwater Contractors (IUC) at the time. We ran two Mantis subs for drilling support and the one I used on the dive was Mantis010. We actually were on that h*** for a while as it was a major discovery back then. The drilling rig was the semi submersible Penrod 75 which was later converted to a floating production rig. I am sure it has been long decommissioned. We never knew it broke OI WASP ADS record in 82 at the time, but the later found out when an article showed up in Offshore Magazine. Of course thats a puddle jump by today's standards but at the time it was a pretty big deal considering the water depths we were drilling in.
