I worked this area for a few years. You won't make much $, but you will work full-time. This is the order of companies, safest and most $ first.

You can also take a test, for the Union, they get all the big jobs, but hard to get into. Pittsburgh local # ? Keep an eye on the gear, meaning double check EVERYTHING before you hop in the water and travel up a steel mill intake pipe. Good luck.
