Always on the hook for having fun, this time I decided it was time to actually do something. Being the last diver in the team to start the ascent from 330 + feet, I pulled this oversized facemask from one of my pockets and got it ready to don. Taking a good breath and closing the loop I removed the mouthpiece, slid the mask on (over top of my regular scuba mask) and replaced the loop. practice beforehand is essential to any skill. The ascent was thru a nearly vertical chimney and amidst the laughter coming from some of the team someone managed to take this picture :)
