Jesus, I worked with Buck more than 25 years ago during a J Ray McD job-so its unlikely you knew him, but new tenders feared him thru no fault of his own-it was just another tender wind-up....
That buck sounds like a character. Hung like a Farm animal? S***!!! But anyways, I've been with J and J for about a 1 1/2 and I haven't heard any stories of Buck.

God I remember we had a terse hand called 'Buck". Now Buck was very large and tall and hairy and mean looking and hung like a farm animal and I don't mean chickens. On the arrival of the latest victem/tender, we voiced a minor concern to the new guy that you had to watch out for Buck in the shower, after he had been offshore for more than about a month because he had irresistable urges that he succ**bed to-and usually ended up taking it out on the new guys, cause they seldom came back, which would antagonize him. Then we would advize that Buck had been offshore now over a month-but don't worry he looked pretty calm at the moment.....and let them marinate in their own imaginations.
As a fomer IOD/CalDiver from the early 80's this shot is typical onboard the vessel, always clowning around, but what a job! Who all from the '80s is at J & J these days?
Awww PDA ;) Now, I was informed by a Navy guy I worked with, that its okay underway, but queer on the pier... looks like your well in the clear you two! LOL jk with ya and funny ass pic!
