hey new to this still in training at the underwater centre doing the full commercial course,enjoyin it so far. jst cant w8 to do my first workin dive. any advice would be appreciated. cheers

mechanical repair and welding are two good experiences to have under your belt/s.
im useless at both, i can tighten nuts and bolts and glue metal together.

I might be getting a job! but thats a big might, Also I dont have any of those experiances!, All I got for previous work knowledge is heavy labour on farms, reparing heavy machinery and welding together buildings.... Hopefully thats enougth :P

well, ive worked on building sites, done demolition, a mechanic, plant operator, which involved plenty repair work, mostly hydraulic. doesnt seem to be helping much though

there is plenty of work in scotland, i know this as i work for a few scottish companies.
although it might have been slow recently, it should pick up.
after dive school, what you need is experience or a good background from a former job which might help you get the work ahead of your compeditors.
amongst other skills, im a shuttering joiner, i found this to be the most advantagous as there is lots of harbours which require shuttering prior to pouring.
