i feel deeply sorry to hear from Bill Ludvigsen that Fred Pernert passed away . I had been his tender back in 1982 for solus ocean system on the D. B .1. Exxon. I recall he was into car racing befor his diving career . Fred was a good guy . Rest in peace Fred .

Ben Miller. I use to dive with Ben at Ocean Systems. Watched him make parts for his hats, harness and weight belts. He had a complete line.

june 11th , 2010 . Hey Ace i remember that by H.J Merihue's shop or on jobs (and that was about 31 years ago ) i did not not see any Miller hat . All those divers were using kmb 18 and 17 . i think that the first Miller i saw was Doug Morgan's , the next one was Chuck Mathew's (on a Daspit Brothers job in the gulf ). Well , what exactely happened with Jim LANE and your hat ?? ...

Hey Marc I am wondering if when you were at H.J. Merihue if you Happened to rember seeing a Miller 100 #105 dive hat being used there ? Jim Lane helped pawn my hat and kmb-10 off on someone . Thanks.
