Taking an R & R from that dreadful Vietnam war in 1970 brought me to Herron Island to dive and a bye chance meeting with at the time Australian World underwater photographer of the year Ben & Eva Cropp who took it upon theirselves to extended a warm invitation to come Hookah dive with them off of their boat while they photographed and filmed. Great experience thank you again Ben & Eva today still diving and looking forward to coming back to Australia again and maybe do some pearl shell diving this time also want to explore and visit more of the history of the pearl shell diving industry in Australia.
