I'm currently in school. Is there any way I can get started now in the industry?

Your already started have you given all of your money to the school yet, you will need to do that. Next finish up your schooling and get your certs then plan on coming to the Gulf and standing in line for a tending job while you are tending you might notice that the dive field is already full of guys just like you that are working on paying their on the job dues and that there are already people in the field diving and have been there for a long time. Think of it as a long apprenticeship thats how we all have done it there is more to it than just jumping in and out of a tank at school. This may sound harsh an perhaps negative however all before you have gone down this road and done it paid their on the job dues and eventually became divers. Good luck it can be done. Mind over matter-if you dont mind it dont matter.
Thanks for the advice. I don't matter so it won't matter. Looking forward to getting out there as a tender or diver. Did 8yrs in the Navy, so I know what it takes to pay my dues. Again thanks and who knows maybe some day our paths will cross.
Use your imagination. Scrub yacht hulls, collect golf balls from water traps, clean swimming pools, collect marine life for aquarium stores, remove unwanted water plants, do shop work for real diving company, play piano in whorehouse, ect, ect, ect.
