UK citizen looking for diving work and visa in States.
Hey everyone, I've currently entered the states on a tourist visa hoping that I am able to pick up diving work that will also allow me to obtain a work visa as well. I've been a commercial diver working on the fish farms on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland for 4 years and for the past 7 months been travelling Thailand and doing my PADI Divemaster qualification...I know I know, *insert PADI wanker jokes here*
Just wanting to know if anybody can give some guidance and point me in the right direction.

I love it. U.S divers can't Evan get work over sea yet alone in there own contry right now and you come here on a visa expecting divers that are sitting on the beach having a hard time feeding there family's to tell you were to start looking for work. I got one place for you to look back at those fish farms. We would like to keep our work ours and not out source it, when other country's start excepting U.S Divers for work then we will start giving up ideas on we're to look for work.

Awright cool your jets Batman. Was merely just trying to see what the situation for diving was like over here and to maybe see if I could prolong my stay over here as I'm enjoying it. I would also like to think that divers as a wh*** would be a little more civil to each other no matter where we were, where we came from, what we were trying to find out, replied in a polite cortious manner and helpedal eachother out even if it wasn'tthe answer we were loozing for. All you had to say was diving work is pretty tough to get even for you guys and I would understand, because you know, it's the exact same back home.
