This all happened 30 years ago....
This Rachel Maddow news person is pretty annoying but I had no idea this all happened before, at diver accessible depths!! I guess big oil companies don't spend much of their R&D money on future disasters...
On a side note, I wish they would respect the guys that died in this tragedy a little more by at least mentioning that 11 lives were lost.... Seems like those people and their families have already been forgotten.

Yeah, until I saw this vid, I had it in my mind that if it was in dive-able depths that a sat team would have been able to kill it real quick but maybe not. My heart goes out to all those folks along that coast who, until this, were able to scrape out a living from the sea/gulf. As if Katrina wasn't enough!!!
