well first off getting certified scuba is not enough to even be considered for an entry level position as a commercial diver, you have to to go to an accredited school for commercial diving   and then if your lucky enough to  get your foot in the door your gonna be holding a real divers line for a couple years before you may actually become one . this is a serious trade man and you need to get better informed if you want to get out there good luck.
Oh ok any idea where i can take up commercial diving courses? and i was wondering will it be possible if i join a commercial diving company as an intern. im really ready mentally and psychically
there are a few good schools in the U.S Google them im graduating from the ocean corporation in houston tx  next week and the job outlook looks bleek its rough out there but i would suggest to you to get informed as to what this career is all about and if you really want to do it than do it dont listen to all that negative s*** your probably gonna hear from other guys who are really out there diving they may be up there in the food chain but they forget that they started at the bottom like the rest of us.
thanks rick
There have always been guys coming from overseas to train at US schools. Its expensive but the real question is what are the companies in Singapore looking for. If it were me I would go down and talk directly to them.
Come to Australia or New Zealand they offer the best qualification to have - the ADAS course is the only course recognised world wide. The best schools to go to are either New Zealand, Tasmania or Perth it will cost you about $20000 to get your level 3 offshore qualification
