It's a tough one that mate. I did my course at fort bill last november on the off chance it'd get me some time in the bin but no luck yet. but in saying that I'd rather have it now and not be using it at the moment, rather than get a chance at a run in but no ticket. as you say the biggest problem is that there's loads of sat boys floating around right now, personally if you have the cash to spare I'd do it but if not other tickets like your 3.2 and such might be a better way to go untill you get a dead cert for getting into sat and then do the sat course.
