Possible Diving Positions, San Diego

I just saw this come up this morning for diving positions with ITT Advanced Engineering & Sciences in San Diego. They have a web site and they're looking for military or commercially trained personnel; I don't know anything about the pay. It appears to be a large company that does work with the military. ITT is seeking commercial divers to perform and support underwater inspection and marine services. Responsibilities will include performance as a diver or tender for underwater inspections and maintenance of mine simulation ranges and other related support work. Duties will also include operation and maintenance of diving and marine equipment and light rigging topside.

Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and 0+ years directly related experience. Years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

- Graduate from an ACDE accredited commercial diving or military program.
' Certifications or experience in underwater inspections.
' Current ADCI tender/diver card at a minimum and other advanced inspection techniques are a plus.
' Good interpersonal skills
' Strong mechanical ability.
' Boat handling skills.
' A good driving record
' CPR qualified Required
- Some experience in rigging is desired.
Candidate should have completed US Navy Dive School or Commercial Dive School
Up to date diving physical required (with in the past 12 months)

This position will require a background investigation and eligibility for a government security clearance which requires US citizenship.
