In my search for work I came across a niche field of diving.  Nuclear reservoir divers.  I went on to look for jobs searching state power plants, government job listings and contractors specializing in that type of diving and couldn't really turn up anything maybe I didn't look hard enough.  So how did you guys land that gig?  Any nuclear divers on these forums feel up to telling their story?  I'de like to hear it, Im sure there are others who would also.

Google nuclear divers -there are some really interesting articles there. incl first hand accounts of duties.
Most nuke companies will use you 'till you get your full rad count, meaning you can't legally be exposed to anymore radiation. Then you're left on the shelf 'till you're considered "clean".
Amazes me how clear the water is in some of those pics.
