just wanted to drop a line saying i've hung up the dive hat for a while.  new career, schedule and pay of becoming an ROV pilot.  i'll always be a diver, but i've also always wanted to try new things and find out as much as i can about the ocean and all the different ways we can play in it.  stay safe friends and family.

Where is ROV training? Seatrepid?

Diving just to slow eh?

It's been a bad year.

Oceaneering...very busy.  Diving is too slow for my taste even though i love it so much.  This way, i'll have two things to work with instead of just one.
You already work for Oceaneering? I heard they have ROV training for employees.
interviewed, hired on, in training now.

Yep, OII is a ROV company.  Biggest and best in the world!  Diving is just a training ground there.  You made a wise choice. Very hard to get hurt in the ROV world. Now you can sell your hat in time for Xmas.  Being home every other month.  Making 40k a year!  YOU ROCK DUDE!  We sure are gonna miss ya.
