Hello All,
I'm in the process of changing career tracks and returning to commercial diving. While some of the gear has changed slightly, and the company names and faces have faded, merged, etc., the industry looks to me much like it did 20 years ago.
I was Navy trained and I worked on the outside for various companies in the early 80's until life kicked in and I started making a family and 'settling down'. (Whatever the hell that is...) I'm still in great shape and good health with nothing more than my Navy credentials. In the time that's passed I've earned a couple of degrees and spent too much time driving a PC and scheduling meetings. It's time to get back on the water.
In a perfect world, I'd like initially to go back to shallow water work, (shipyards, dock work, etc.) to get my feet wet again, then decide where to go from there.
Any advice you all can give me will be much appreciated.
Thanks folks.
Ray
