Looking for a set of new steel/composite toe bottom boots.
But not really having that much luck. I have had the ones that we got in school way back in the day and thank god the rookie left them on the back of the vessel to fall off. Gives me a reason to find and buy some more. Problem is, I'm not finding many. Anyone got any suggestions?

Buy heavy duty slip on steel toe and shank industrial rubber boots two sizes larger then your booties.
cut front of uppers down to just above foot. You can then put brass grommets in uppers for lace and or two slots in back that will accept nylon dog collersto secure boot.deep mud will not pull them off.
punch h*** in bottom in front of heel and side of boot to drain water to climb ladders.
If you want weight in boot you can cut 1/4 inch plate for insert in boot foot.
use your bootie for the R&L pattern.

Go to walmart and buy yourself a $20 pair of rubber steel toe pull on boots, cut a couple of drain h***s in the arch of the boots with your trusty big cheif, of spyderco which ever you perfer and you have got yourself a cheap pair of bottom boots.

If I understand you right you want a pair of boots with a steel toe and a steel bottom. Well here is a trick Fred Johnson dialed me in on years ago.
Buy a pair of boots maybe goloshes or rubber work boots from Walmart with steel toes and then make our of a sheet of steel 1/4" a bottom that will fit into your boots. If you need it weighted use heavy steel. Thanks Fred its has saved the bottom of my feet more than once. Good luck.
