Hey guys and or girls

i have been interested in the ocean since i can remember i started out as a youngin fishing and snorkling alll my life finaly got off my arse and got my scuba ticket and that was it for me i try to go down any chance i get.

Iam just wondering if there are any aussies on this site who can give me some insight to the commercial diving game in australia

i am 28 and belive its now or never time to get into a job that i have been interested in a very long time which is commercial diving my ultimate job would be a marine bioligist but i left school early and by time i finish uni if i stated now i feel ill be to old. I have done alot of research in to Cdiving im a big strong lad over 192cm and 110 kg done a trade in building industry and have my own bussines basically im not afraid of hard work i am based in western australia

my questins are

Do you work in australia or mostly over seas

if you do work over seas what generaly is the time frime your away from home

if you work in aus is it a rosterd system like on the mines where you do 2 weeks on 1 week off ect ect or do you stay untill project (your job ) is finished ?

traing is very expensive i can afford to pay and do the corses seperatly like adsa part 1 then part 2 then part 3

is there any government grants to help pay for this so its not to long between corses

I would like to do all 3 quick as possible so i can become qualified and start on my new career

i have a few more questions but i will just leave with these now
