Go to any insurance broker and they can find an outfit that writes disability insurance.
all states have workmans disability insurance. all companies must carry it for there employees. If you are a freelance diver then you can get your own.
Are you planning to file a claim as soon as you get it?

thanks for the info
i am not going to file a claim as soon as i get it. Its for just in case something happens in the future and i can never work again, I know I will have an income until death.
I live in South Africa at the moment and when it comes to commercial diving they can be a big difficult.
So I want something that I pay personally (does not matter how much the premiums are) so that i have peace of mind.
I think what you are talking about is short term workmans disability insurance (you get an income for a couple of months or a couple of years)
