In ten years i have not known of anyone doing this.  I meet some people that were paramedics before going to dive school.  Are you aking if the left diving and went onto a career in those fields?

I kept my EMTb/DMT for 8 years.  It just wasn't worth the $ or effort to keep it going.  Sure, it openend up doors for me, but in the long run, just another piece of paper.  The IMCA course is two weeks...I'm drifting that way.
