Army Diver
New user, first post. Im an army engineer diver. I am looking at getting out and diving on the civilian side. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to break into the field. By the time I get out I'll have three years as a diver; do you think I'll have an edge or just be considered another FNG on the side.

Ha man from a fellow Army brother to another dont get out of the army. Diving in the civilin world is competitive. If your a hard charger on locating work than good on you but there are so many diver's right now out of work it is like 1985 all over again. Not enough work to go around and to many tender divers and divers slitting throught's to get work. And yes you will be considered a FNG.
