Anyone living and working in S.E Asia

Hey Guys and Gals

I'm a British National currently basing myself in S.E Asia.

I Just want to ask around if there is anyone out there currently working in this part of the world, that could share a bit of knowledge about the current level of activity, maybe a few pointers about securing some contracts over here.

you are right about the monsoons coming to an end and it seems like things are starting to pick. though things are not as full-on as it was a couple of years ago, a lot of fellow divers, including myself, are seeing ourselves back offshore as just within a few weeks. i reckon by years-end things should be back in the swing of things.. where are you located in asia?

hey connor, thanks for the headz up, i was trying to base myself in singapore but found it a touch expensive with the uncertainty factor of work, tried K-L but not really my favorite city i must admit, and not so much happening there really, come to thailand to chill for a bit and conserve some pennies, haven't hit bangkok, i'm holding up in the south, got some family here and an internet connection, finding it difficult to locate companies with offices based in thailand though.
any tips for a fella with no offshore experience as yet. would be apprecited
